Don’t book here if you have any allergies, we’ve 6 rescue cats & 5 little dogs too!

CHOOSING SELF-CATERING HOLIDAY COTTAGES IN NORMANDY
Self-catering is a great option in Normandy providing ample opportunity to sample the local delicacies in the comfort of your own Normandy Holiday Home.
To get the most out of your stay, we encourage you to try out the local shops, including your local patisserie, boulangerie and boucherie. This is something you can only really do when you holiday self-catering in Normandy, but, don’t feel like cooking – ask what happening in my kitchen & Aga, I’m a trained cook – I’m sure I’ll be able to tempt you! I’ll even drop it round all ready to serve.
We’ve put a lot of thought into each of our Normandy Cottages to ensure that they offer the best value for our guests, everything spotlessly clean, Egyptian Cotton linen, fluffy towels, dressing gowns, well stocked kitchens – even an Aga in the Band of Brothers House!
Each of our three Normandy Cottages has been inspected and achieved a minimum three to four star rating from the Ministry of Tourism. They all have non-slip Italian walk-in showers, free wi-fi and all are regulated and fitted with safety features, including: smoke detectors, CO2 detectors, fire extinguishers, first aid kits along with local doctors and emergency information.

Based in the heart of the D Day Landing Beaches plus in a National Park the location is perfect. From our Holiday Cottages in Normandy you can explore: Utah Beach with the other D-Day landing Beaches Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword no more than 35 minutes away. The many WW2 museums along the coast, including The Utah Beach Muse du Debarquement, Arromanches 360, Caen Memorial Centre for History and Peace, and Pegasus Bridge. The American Cemetery at Coleville sur Mer situated above Omaha D-Day landing beach. The British Cemetery at Bayeux. Normandy is a fantastic area to explore beyond the D-Day beaches, so do also make time to explore: The charming town of Bayeux, with its many shops and restaurants, Cathedral, famous Bayeux tapestry and the Memorial Museum of the Battle of Normandy. The many voies verts that criss-cross the area perfect for discovering the region on foot or by bicycle. The picturesque fishing ports of the Cotentin peninsular, such as Barfleur and St-Vaast-la-Hougue. The stunning, atmospheric Mont St Michel on the other side of the Cotentin peninsular.
We’re set in the heart of The American sector of the WW2 Landing Beaches famous for the 101st Airborne as depicted on the TV series Band of Brothers & the Longest Day movie, plus this area is the heart of the Parc National Bessin et Cotentin (regional National Park) – with some of the most striking and beautiful natural countryside in France. The 3 properties are within 10 minutes of one another, the cottage & barn apartments on our little farm are 4 miles equal distance of Ste Mere Eglise & Carentan, The Town house in the church square of Sainte Marie du Mont, The 1st village liberated 6th June 1944.
